If you haven't heard of this series then shame on you and I think you should scroll down and read my review on this amazing series.

I didn't want to do separate descriptions for each book otherwise it would be a very long post & I also didn't want to spoil anything incase you decide to read them. I've wrote a nutshell description so that you can see what the books are about and hopefully spike your interest and make you want to read them :)

Here is a list of all the books in the series in order & when they were published by month and year.

Description: The books follow 16 year-old Zoey Redbird, after a Vampyre Tracker Marks her with a crescent moon on her forehead, she enters the House of Night and learns that she is no average fledgling. She has been Marked as special by the Vampyre Goddess Nyx. Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny. Each book brings a new dilemma that Zoey & her friends must face and defeat, along the way she loses friends, gains undead friends, ends up in a love triangle and has to fight the Vampyres that are determined to bring her down and destroy her and everyone she loves.

Review:
After reading the first book Marked, I was totally hooked, there's something about this series that just draws me back every time. I've fallen in love with characters and I've cried when they're died. A lot of Vampyres tend to die in these books which makes me sad as some good ones lose their lives. After 10 books the story has been dragged out, but because I love these books I didn't mind and continued to read them anyway. I highly recommend these books they are well written and each character is well thought out and brought to life with their own story. I'm gutted they are coming to the end but it's been a fun journey and I look forward to reading the next installment.

If you've read this series let me know what you thought of them or if you want to recommend any to me :)

Till next time

Debbie

Product Review: Dove Hair Conditioner

Hey friend

I've decided it's time for my first product review and its going to be on the Dove Hair Mask.

After watching a ton of Youtubers rave about hair masks & deep conditioners, I figured it was abut time I jumped on the band wagon and gave one a try.

So without out further ado I bring you the Dover damage solutions - intense repair regenerating mask with Keratin repair actives. And breathe, that was a mouthful & a half. Apart from the extremely long name it's a really good product

Dove is a great brand, one I feel safe using and have used for a number of years from soaps to lotions and everything in between.

This conditioner has a thick consistency with a really nice smell that lingers on your hair even if you use other products (heat protection, hairspray etc). All you do is apply a generous amount amount to your hair starting from the top of your ears and working down towards the tips of your hair, be sure to avoid your roots as this can leave your hair greasy. Leave it on for 3-5 minutes and then just rinse out. You can also use this as an everyday conditioner or once a week for a deep conditioning.

I've been using this every week for well over a month, even after the first use I noticed a big difference in my hair. It appeared more shiny and smooth, I had less breakage, more volume and my hair just appeared so much more healthy.

All in all I totally recommend this product if your hair is needing a bit of TLC. And the best part is its only £1.97 for 200ml. A inexpensive product that actually works :)

I hope you enjoyed this review. Let me know if your try this out or have any recommendations for me :)

Till next time

Polyvore :)

Hey guys

Remember in a previous post I talked about being just a tad addicted to Pinterest? Well.........I found another new obsession and its called *drumroll if you will* Polyvore. Excited yet?

Polyvore is a website/app that is pretty much like a look book, where you're able to check out all fashion and beauty related items as well as furniture and add them to a blank page and build it up by creating outfits you want, adding accessories etc as well as creating a room you want. it's a fun thing to do when you got a spare 5 minutes and you can create some really cool looks. It also tells you the price and where you can buy them from. Surely you're excited now :D

I've included some of the things I've created to give you an idea. :)

These are some tops that caught my attention. I especially love the cat top :)

6 trousers that I'm really liking and would make a great addition to my wardrobe :)

Some shoes that stood out to my eyeballs :)

Can't create a look book without accessories I'm really into scarfs and snoods and with it being winter the hats would come in handy. And the sunglasses are just a great colour.

And last but not least is beauty if I were a millionaire which sadly I'm not I would snap these up to add to my collection.

That's it for this post, let me know in the comments what you think of my picks & I hope you enjoy Polyvore as much as i do, let me know if you join so I can be sure to follow you & and my username is debbie-hall if you want to follow me :)

Till next time

Grand Theft Auto V Review

Hey guys

Recently I went out and brought the new Grand Theft Auto V for the playstation 3 and i was super excited for this to be released and Rockstar have really out done themselves with this one.

The graphics are amazing and a lot of things look real such as the waves in the water or blood when you kill someone. I play with an HD cable so I'm not sure how it looks in normal but I'm guessing it still looks decent.

You get to play as three different characters Franklin, Michael and Trevor that I haven't unlocked yet and even as a dog called Chops which is pretty cool. Each character has their own storyline, but they do cross over into one another.

I'm not that far into the story as I'm not one that can sit for hours and play on the PS3 for hours but from what I've played it's seriously a great game until I get stuck then I will probably hate it lol.

But the mission I've done so far have been good especially getting to play as the dog, you get to fight aliens, save a boat and many more. I'm not going to spoil it for those of you that have yet to go and get a copy but what I can say is that it's well worth the money.

There's many different things you can do should you want a rest from missions, you have the shooting range, tennis courts, get some sun out at sea, parachute over the mountains or take a ride in the hills.

I've been a big fan of all the GTA games ever since I was younger and they never fail to disappoint. The one thing that I do like about the game is the new radio songs they have actually added proper real songs from the likes of Britney Spears, Fergie and Wham, with many more.

I look forward to continuing with these missions and you can tell so much time and effort has gone into making this one of the best games of 2013 and if you've played all the previous GTA's then you will notice all the new features and how different and ultimately better. If you're in the market for a new game then I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed. Below are some pictures of the gameplay that I took. I hope you enjoy them :)

Michaels house

Franklins house

Doing a mission

Couple of cars I've come across while driving around.

If you want a more in depth review of the game then you can click here. But you will need to be 18+ to view it.

Till next time guys

Lesley Pearse - 3 Book Review

Hey guys

Today I bring you 3 book reviews two of which was on my Summer Reading List and the other one featured in my July Favourites. As they were all by the same author I figured I could just combine them all into one post. Clever right? Let's get started :)

Belle
By Lesley Pearse
2011
624 Pages

Description: Fifteen year-old Belle has lived in Seven Dials all her life. But her innocence is shattered when she witnesses a murder and subsequently snatched by the killer & she is sold into prostitution. Can she make it back to her family and find her chance at happiness?

Review
Storyline: I liked the story, it was sad that Belle witnesses a murder and has her childhood cruelly snatched away from her, and to make matters worse she gets sold into prostitution. But Belle makes the best out of a bad situation & and does all she can to survive and find her way home. There is a lot of detail of prostitution and sex so if you don't like those types of book then skip ahead to the next review :)

Characters: Most of the people that know Belle (friends & family) do all they can to find her and bring her back home. Everyone is full of love for Belle which is sweet and caring. The story jumps back between Belle and her family and how they are coping without Belle. Unique friendships are created and many relationships are lost.

Overall: One of my favourite books of 2013, I was not expecting to like it as much as I did, but I'm really glad I gave it a go.

My Rating: 10/10
Would I recommend?: Without a shadow of a doubt yes.

Father Unknown
Lesley Pearse
2002
409 Pages

Description: When her adoptive mother dies and leaves her daughter a scrapbook of memories, Daisy finally discovers who she is and where she came from. Will she be able to deal with the truth about her real parents and the real Daisy?

Review
Storyline: This book is also set in the olden days like Belle. It did leave me some what confused in the beginning as after a few chapters it jumps back to when Daisy's birth mother was a young child and how she came to be pregnant and why she had to give Daisy up for adoption. But it's not made clear that its jumping back. It's a really good and engaging story with a shocking twist that I honestly did not see coming...Mind Blown!

Characters: A great mix of characters and personalities. They are all unique in different ways. A good look into the time when being pregnant out of wedlock and at a young age was frowned upon and a big no no.

Overall: Another great story by Lesley Pearse. The story had me hooked & when the twist happened I was hooked even more. Well worth the read.

My Rating: 8/10 just because it was confusing at the beginning.
Would I recommend?: Totally

The Promise
Lesley Pearse
2012
503 Pages

Description: Belle's life is about to change in ways she never imagined possible - when Jimmy enlists in the army her world is shattered and realises she must volunteer to help the wounded. But the past returns to haunt her present in other more unpleasant ways. Can she survive the war with her spirit intact? Will destiny finally lead her to lasting happiness even while war rages on around. This is the follow on book from Belle.

Review
Storyline: Be sure to have tissues on hand because this book will literally have you crying like a baby. The story is extremely well written. The book follows on from Belle and tells the story of what Belle's life became after she got back from Paris. The book has you feeling all sorts of different emotions. It also gives you a inside look at how the soldiers felt and what conditions they were having to fight in.

Characters: Most of the characters from Belle are also in this book along with some new ones. As the book goes along you end up feeling a lot of empathy for some of the characters and at points you're left wishing you could know them and that they existed. Lesley knows how to create the greatest characters.

Overall: A great read. This book left me smiling and in tears. Lesley Pearse can not write a bad story. I enjoyed every page of this book even the sad parts.

My Rating: 10/10
Would I Recommend?: Yes. At this point I recommend them all even though I haven't read them all. But if you loved Belle then you will love this one.

After 6 weeks I have finally finished my Summer Reading List. Phew. I hope you enjoyed these reviews. I shall be posting my Autumn reading list which I can not wait to get stuck into. I will indeed post reviews as I read them. You can find all the ways to contact me in the contact section above :)

Till next time
