Reviews in this series: The Last Echo #3

Description: Violet thought she'd made peace with her unique ability to sense the echoes of the dead and the imprints that cling to their killers.... that is until she acquired an imprint of her own. Forced to carry a reminder of the horrible events of her kidnapping, Violet is more determined than ever to lead a normal life. However, the people who run the special investigative team Violet works for have no intention of letting her go.

When someone close to Violet becomes a suspect in a horrific murder, she finds herself pulled into a deadly hunt for a madman with an army of devoted followers. Violet has survived dangerous situations before, but she quickly discovers that protecting those closest to her is far more difficult than protecting herself.

Review:
The author gives you a snippet of what happens at the end of the book which you don't know at first which totally sucks you in.

There isn't much to say about this book because once again Violer is having to catch a killer after she stumbles across some bodies, but this time her friends are there to help her.

If I remember rightly Violets Granmother is really mentioned all that much other then to let you know Violet inherited her gifts from her Granmother. So I liked getting to read parts of her Granmothers diary and what it was like for her to have the same ability that Violet does.

You also learn more about the centre also know as the circle of seven as it's been kept pretty hush hush so far. I'm not going to give to much away but you are left wondering who's behind the centre and what their real goal is.

I was unable to put it down and hopefully the author is writing another book in this series.

Rating: 5/5
Would I Recommend?: yes
