Hey friend
Here are some more books I've picked to read this Autumn.
Franny Banks is a struggling actress in New York City, with just six months left of the three year deadline she gave herself to succeed. But so far, all she has to show for her efforts is a single line in an ad for ugly Christmas sweaters and a degrading waitressing job.
Meanwhile she dreams of doing "important" work, but only ever seems to get auditions for dish-washing liquid and peanut butter commercials. It's hard to tell if she'll run out of time or money first.
Guarding witnesses? All in a day's work for deputy U.S. Marshal Carly Materson, protecting the Judge who was indirectly responsible for her mentor's death. She won't let harm come to Judge Nicholas Floyd, or the niece & nephew in his care. She's determined to do the job right, and not let her emotions take over. Can she let go of the past and learn to trust again before danger finds them once more?
The Mortal Instruments (City of Fallen Angels #4)
Description: The Mortal War is over, and sixteen-year-old Clary Fray is back home in New York, she's training to become a Shadowhunter and to use her unique power. Downworlders and Shadowhunters are at peace at last but nothing comes without a price.
Someone is murdering Shadowhunters who used to be in Valentines circle, Jace begins to pull away from Clary without explaining why, she is forced to delve into the heart of a mystery whose solution reveals her worst nightmare. She has set in motion a terrible chain of events that could lead to her losing everything she loves, even Jace.
The Cult of Osiris (Nina Wilde/Eddie Chase #5)
Nina Wilde & Eddie Chase are on a hunt for the last pyramid of Osiris.. Discredited, jobless and broke, archaeologist Nina Wilde and ex-SAS Soldier Eddie Chase have problems of their own - until Macy's plea for help sends them on a deadly quest across the globe as they try to reach the mysterious pyramid before Khald Osir, the charismatic leader of the Osirian Temple. but is the cults motive purely greed....or something more sinster?
That's it for now, have you read any of the books mentioned, if so what did you think of them?
