November's Glossy Box 2013

Hey lovelies

Time for another Glossy box, this will be the last one till the new year as I'm unable to afford anymore till after Christmas. So have no fear as I will be back with more beauty boxes in 2014 :)

I was pretty excited upon opening this box as it seemed I got some ready good samples this month.

First thing my eyes gravitated towards was...

Yves Rocher France - Hand Cream
This hand cream smells devine, the scent is chocolate & orange, I kid you not it smells like a Terry's chocolate orange. I'm now forever having a whiff of my hands and trying not to have a chomp on them lol. Scent aside, this hand cream leaves your hands super soft and your not left with any greasiness that some hand creams have. This is a great sample.
Full Size: £1.95 for 75ml
Shop @: www.yves-rocher.co.uk

Second thing I noticed was......

Elegant Touch - Rapod Dry for Nails
When it comes to painting my nails I'm extremely impatient when it comes to them drying so I'm always left with smudges but with this raid dry spray, smudge nails will be a thing of the past. Another great sample.
Full Size: £3 for 125ml
Shop @: New Look, Superdrugs & Boots

Third thing I spied was.......

Vichy - Idealia Life Serum
I love getting samples in bags and this is no exception. Three mini samples. Can't say I've heard of this brand before (must be all those years of living under a rock) but I'm excited to try these out.
Full Size: £29.50 for 30ml
Shop @: www.boots.com

Fourth thing I notice is......

Emote Make Up - Micronized Eyeshadow -Dams
An eyeshadow in black (everyone needs a black shadow right?) I like using shadows when I've misplaced my eyeliner and I'm excited to give this one a go.
Full Size: £16.80 for 1.48g

Last but not least is........

B - Complete Long-lasting Nail Polish Or Quick One Coat Professional Finish Nail Polish
A blue nail polish you say? Well in actual fact it is a base polish which you apply before your actual nail colour & also over the nail colour (not sure how well that would work) Wondering if any of my polishes will cover this up or if the blue shows through but will be interesting to see.
Full Size: £4.99 for 8ml
Shop @: www.superdrug.com

-------------------------------------

That's it I'm afraid, what did you think of this months box?. I'm sad I have to wait till 2014 for another one but never mind :) in the mean time if you're interested in joining you can do so right.........here.

Till next time

XOXO
Debbie

FTC: I purchased this box myself with my own money.

Octobers Glossy Box

Hey friend

Time for another Glossy box and upon looking into the box, it looks like a good month. Shall we have a closer look?

This months box is called Dark Romance. My box also came with the Glossy magazine.

Monu - Illuminating Primer
I've been having problems with getting my foundation to apply right, so I'm interested in trying this out. The primer is paraben free & has been formulated with light reflective mica particles and can be used either alone, under make-up or as a tinted moisturiser for a flawless, illuminating finish. My size sample is 20ml  which is pretty decent.
Full Size: £24.95 for 50ml
Shop: www.monushop.co.uk

Broadway Nails - imPRESS press-on manicure
I'm not really a big fan of wearing false nails as I can't seem to get on with them, but I do wear one as an accent nail. These are press on nails with no glue involved. Handy if you're in a rush. This is a full sample.
Full Size: £7.99
Shop: www.boots.com

MeMeMe Cherubs Blush - Cheek & Lip Tint
I've always been curious about lip tints so I'm excited to get this in my box. Claims to be long-lasting and multi-functional. This is a pretty decent sample at 6m. You won't need to use much so it will last for quite a while.
Full Size: £5.50 for 12ml
Shop: mememecosmetics.co.uk

Katy Perry - Killer Queen Fragrance
I'm a big fan of Katy Perry so I'm over the moon to receive a sample in my box. I've given it a sniff and to me it smells really nice. This fragrance is described as a charmingly playful yet lethally gorgeous floriental fragrance.
Full Size: £29.50 for 50ml
Shop: boots, superdrug, the perfume shop and the fragrance shop.

Premae - Multi-Vit Smoothie Serum
Seems like an interesting product. Premae is the worlds first allergen-free brand..the formula helps to soothe redness and hydrate the skin. Ideal for combination skin. I don't have combination skin but I will give this a whizz anyway. My size sample is 20ml which again is a decent size.
Full Size: £22.50 for 50ml
Shop: www.premaeskincare.com/shop

That completes this months glossy box, did you get any thing different to me? If so let me know in the comments as I'm interested to see what you got. If you wanna join glossy box then you can do so by clicking here :)

Till next time

September's Glossy Box!

Hey guys

We are half way through September, which means its a new glossy box. Yay!! I'm really into beauty boxes at the moment and glad this one has turned up. So without further a do. Lets see what I got :)

I am in love with this boxes design, having the Union Jack on the box makes it really cute as this glossy box is the London edition, and it would be nice to have out on show. As you may be able to tell from the pictures I got some really cool stuff :)

Elizabeth Arden - Untold
My first item I pick up is this perfume sample. I love trying new scents so I'm happy to get a sample. I gave it a sniff and seriously, it smells devine. The card describes the scent as a modern floral fragrance. It's a really decent size sample.
Full size: £48 for 50ml & £69 for 100ml
Shop: Debenhams

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics - Onyx Eye Liner
The next sample my eyeballs spot is this eyeliner. I've been wanting to try a felt tip liquid liner for awhile so I'm excited to try this out. This eyeliner came in the colour Onyx. I've never heard of this brand but according to the card it's their best selling eyeliner and is suppose to last throughout the entire day. But I will let you know on that. This is a full sample.
Full size: $14 for 3g
Shop: www.beabombshell.com

HD Brows Blusher - Blusher 2
Next I pick up the HD Brows Blusher. I've actually heard if this brand but didn't know they did anything other than brows, the shade I got was in Blusher 2 and is described as a soft burnt rose powder. When I open the compact I found the powder to be broken :( but its still useable. When I was doing the swatch it's not really noticeable so if you do want it to show up on your cheeks you will have to build it up. This is also in full size.
Full size: £17.95
Shop: www.hdbrows.com

Eylure Pre-glued Lashes
Next I spy these false eyelashes. I've always wanted to try false eyelashes but having to use glue freaks me out so I'm stoked to get these ones. These are Pre-glued so all you do is remove the lashes from the tray and apply then you are ready to PARTY!!! These are also a full size. Happy days :)
One Set: £5.06
Shop: www.eylure.com

TONI & GUY Hairmeetwardrobe - Classic Shine & Gloss Serum
My last sample is the shine & gloss serum and is suppose to control frizz. I have frizzy hair so I'm looking forward to using this sample and getting rid of my frizz :) this is a pretty decent sample.
Full Size: £7.19 for 30ml
Shops: www.boots.com

And that completes this months glossy box. It was a pretty good box I'm looking forward to next months. I hope you enjoyed seeing what I got. Let me know in the comments if you got this glossy box and if you got anything different to me :)

Till next time

XOXO
Debbie

August Glossy Box

Heeeeeeeeeeeey!

I'm extremely late jumping on this wagon, but I made it and I'm glad I did. Subscription boxes are a big thing now and you can pretty much get a subscription box for everything.

For those of you that don't know what it is, you pay a certain amount of money for 5 samples a month that are delivered to your door.

In the case of the Glossy Box it's £10.00 (+P&P) and you get 5 hand picked samples.

Scroll down to find out what I got in my very first Glossy Box :)

The box is a light baby pink with a nice logo stamped in the middle

When you take the lid off your samples are covered with black tissue paper with a sticker on it showing it hasn't been tampered with and it's finished off with a bow. (I didn't wait to take that picture as I was too excited lol)

At a glance you can see I've been given some really great things to try this month and to top it off the products are from different countries :)

The first product which is a full size is a Eyelash curler and its from Sweden from the brand Emite Make Up and it retails for about £20, which you can get from their website. www.emitemakeup.com

My second product was a sample from the brand Urban Veda and it says its founded on ancient Indian Principles and I was given the Radiance Day Cream, which I did try and it smells amazing, it had a lingering smell and was still smelling it hours later and it left my face smooth. Full size starts at £7.99 which you can get from their website. www.urbanveda.co.uk

My third product was a 2-in-1 Shadow/liner from the brand Jelly Pong Pong. To me this seems like a decent sample it could be a full size but I'm unsure. This product is from good old England. I did give this a go on the back of my hand (check picture below) and it was easy to use, I didn't have to apply much pressure and it stayed on the back of my hand for most of the day. Mine was in the colour grey. Full size retails at £10.50. You can order yours from www.jellypongpong.com

My fourth product was another sample from the USA and its from the bran TRESemmè. It's a Keratin Smooth treatment shot for your hair. Haven't yet tried this but the brand is pretty good so I have high hopes for this product. Full size (15ml) retails at £1.49 which you can get from Superdrugs, Boots, Tesco and Waitrose.

For my last product I got the Makeup Remover Pen from the brand Óceane which is from Brazil. This is a  size and comes with replacement tips and it allows you to remove excess makeup around your eyes, lips and corners. Not yet tried this but looking forward to when I do. It's not yet available in the UK, but for more information you can visit their website. www.oceane.com.br

Pretty excited to get all this in my first box and I look forward to the next few boxes. I hope you enjoyed this post, leave me comments if you've tried any of the products mentioned. Until next time TTFN.

XOXO
Debbie
